After graduating in, Sid spent a year in private practice in a country town in northern Queensland and three and a half years in public and private practice in Canberra. Always up for a challenge, he pursued a master’s degree in advanced dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2015, a course that involved both clinical work and a research component, for which he undertook three systematic reviews. Equipped with the skills to read professional dental literature critically and apply that knowledge in clinical practice, as well as a hunger for more knowledge and the desire to gain and fine-tune additional clinical expertise, he set his sights on the University of Otago. There he gained a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry as a Prosthodontist (Specialist) on a doctoral scholarship, undertaking research in teeth bleaching and treating complex cases according to evidence-based practice. Along the way he also attained MRACDS* (Prosthodontist), further reinforcing his high standards of patient management, diagnosis and treatment for the benefit of the community. Following extensive training and clinical experience, Sid derives much satisfaction knowing the benefits his practice brings to the patients he serves and the community at large.
Dr. Sid isn’t just a prosthodontist - he’s a passionate educator and trailblazer in the field of dentistry. With a mission to empower dental professionals, He travels across Australasia and Asia, delivering thought-provoking, evidence-based lectures that bring the latest prosthodontic advancements to life.
As a natural teacher, Dr. Sid has shaped the next generation of dentists through his work as a clinical demonstrator at the University of Otago in New Zealand, where he spent three years teaching in both clinical and simulation environments. He’s also lent his expertise to Year 4 dental students at the University of Queensland, sharing practical knowledge to prepare them for real-world challenges.

In the weekend, Sid enjoys adventure sports like rock climbing, skiing, motor biking and scuba diving. He also likes getting in touch with nature by riding his road bike and going on hikes with his wife, who is a scientist.

For an appointment for extensive work I found the whole procedure not very exhausting. The staff were very professional and very accommodating.
